RAINEY that this Communication be RECOMMENDED FOR PLACING ON FILE. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye 8- Hamilton, Coggs, Stamper, Borkowski, Witkowski, Bauman, Kovac and Rainey No 0 2. 181289 Substitute resolution directing the City Clerk to develop a pilot plan for a City merchandise retail outlet with the intention of establishing a retail presence within 6 months. Sponsors: Ald. Coggs, Ald. Lewis, Ald. Rainey, Ald. Stamper, Ald. Hamilton, Ald. Borkowski, Ald. Kovac, Ald. Bauman and Ald. Witkowski Jim Owczarski - City Clerk Ald. Coggs moved that the proceeds of these sales will go into the Vel R. Phillips statue fund. There were no objections. Ald. Rainey asked to be added as co-sponsor. Stats., to consider the dismissal, demotion, licensing or disciplining of health department personnel, pursuant to s. 19.85(1)(c), Wis. Stats., to consider employment and performance evaluation data of health department personnel, pursuant to s. 19.85(1)(f), Wis. Stats., to consider financial, medical, social or personal histories or disciplinary data of health department personnel, preliminary consideration of specific health department personnel problems or the investigation of charges against specific health department personnel which, if discussed in public, would be likely to have a substantial adverse effect upon the reputation of any person referred to in such histories or data, or involved in such problems or investigations, and s. 19.85(1)(g), Wis. This meeting will be webcast live at www.milwaukee.gov/channel25. In the event that Common Council members who are not members of this committee attend this meeting, this meeting may also simultaneously constitute a meeting of the Common Council or any of the following committees: Community and Economic Development, Finance and Personnel, Judiciary and Legislation, Licenses, Public Safety and Health, Public Works, Zoning, Neighborhoods & Development, and/or Steering and Rules. Whether a simultaneous meeting is occurring depends on whether the presence of one or more of the Common Council member results in a quorum of the Common Council or any of the above committees, and, if there is a quorum of another committee, whether any agenda items listed above involve matters within that committee’s realm of authority. In the event that a simultaneous meeting is occurring, no action other than information gathering will be taken at the simultaneous meeting. Times for specific agenda items are estimations. If items cannot be heard at their specified times, they will be heard as soon as practicable thereafter.
