BOARD OF Meeting Minutes June 11, 2021 DIRECTORS construction progress for Westlawn Gardens-Phase 2, Holton Terrace LLC, Merrill Park, LLC, Becher Court LLC, and various Housing Authority sites. Staff answered Director’s questions regarding the installation of modular houses at the Westlawn Gardens site. Willie Hines, Jr., Travaux’s Acting President, noted news media reports on channels FOX6 Milwaukee and WISN12 News regarding a rodent issue at Westlawn Gardens. HACM is working with the City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works Sanitation Division to insure that there are enough garbage bins on the site. In addition, the Department of Neighborhood Services is baiting the sewers and any holes that could house rodents, they issued citations and issuances to adjacent businesses for excess trash and debris surrounding their garbage bins. Westlawn Gardens’ contracted maintenance crew will be looking at the eastern areas of Westlawn Gardens as well as future construction sites for rodent holes or burrows. Director Wagner asked that Mr. Jones send the Directors a schedule of the installation of the modular houses. 3. T196 The Board of Travaux, Inc. may vote to convene in Executive Session, pursuant to Wis. Stats. Secs. 19.85 (1) (g), to confer with legal counsel with respect to litigation, in which it is or is likely to become involved. It is expected that the Board will adjourn the meeting in the Executive Session. Sponsors: THE CHAIR A motion was made by James A. Bohl, seconded by Eugene Manzanet, that this Travaux motion be APPROVED. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye 7- Wagner Hines, Jr. Manzanet Crosby Bohl Hurtado Zepecki No 0 Excused 4- McCarthy Perez Rainey Guskowski Adjournment There being no further business, Director Manzanet made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 3:39p.m. Director Crosby seconded the motion.
