Call to Order Meeting called to order at 3:03 p.m. Roll Call Present: 10 - McCarthy, Wagner, Hines, Jr., Manzanet, Rainey, Crosby, Bohl, Hurtado, Guskowski, Zepecki Excused: 1 - Perez 1. T197 Approval of the minutes of the regular meeting held on June 11, 2021 Sponsors: THE CHAIR Attachments: June 11, 2021 Travaux Minutes A motion was made Eugene Manzanet, seconded by James A. Bohl, that this Motion be APPROVED This motion PREVAILED by Voice Vote 2. T198 Report from the Acting President Sponsors: THE CHAIR Director Wagner asked if there was any action the Board needed to take to affirm Willie L. Hines, Jr. as Acting President. Counsel Tom Gartner noted that no action could be added to the agenda today and that he would review the specifics in the bylaws and report back. Mr. Hines thanked the Directors and said he looks forward to introducing himself to those who he doesn’t yet know and that he will set up appointments with all the City of Milwaukee Page 1 TRAVAUX INC. BOARD OF Meeting Minutes July 15, 2021 DIRECTORS Directors to get acquainted, speak of some key matters and listen to their perspectives on the organization. Director Wagner shared his gladness that Mr. Hines will be working with Travaux and HACM. 3. The Board of Travaux, Inc. may vote to convene in Closed Session, pursuant to Wis. Stats. Secs. 19.85 (1) (g), conferring with legal counsel for the governmental body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved. It is expected that the Board will adjourn the meeting in the Closed Session. A motion was made by Director Manzanet, seconded by Director Bohl, that the Travaux Board of Directors, to convene in closed session at 2:12p.m. Director Bohl seconded the motion. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye: 10 - Hines, Bohl, Crosby, Guszkowski, Hurtado, Manzanet, McCarthy, Rainey, Wagner, Zepecki No: 0 Acting President Hines convened the Travaux Board in closed session pursuant to Wis. Stats. Secs. 19.85 (1) (g), conferring with legal counsel for the governmental body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved. It is expected that the Board will adjourn the meeting in the Closed Session. Adjournment There being no further business, Commissioner Bohl made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 4:11 p.m. Commissioner Manzanet seconded the motion. There being no objections, the motion carried. Upon reasonable notice, efforts will be made to accommodate the needs of persons with disabilities through sign language interpreters or auxiliary aids.
