5. Update on Milwaukee Youth Council CDBG Reprogramming Recommendations
Reprogramming dollars allocated into three areas:
Youth Council League of Cities
Youth Employment
Youth Violence prevention
Motion by member, Tietyen-Mlengana, seconded by member Parker, to authorized
the office of Administration to release the RFP for these three categories mentioned
above.

6. Selection of MYC member to serve on the Youth Zone's Blueprint Commission
Nominations
Member Haywood, II
Member Haywood, II was unanimously selected to serve on the Youth Zone's
Blueprint Commission as representative of the Milwaukee Youth Council.
7. Planning for participation in the Milwaukee Peace Initiative

The MPP is targeting Milwaukee's at-risk youth, particularly those still in school and
connected to positive programs and systems. The areas and schools being targeted

for youth input include those neighborhoods where Milwaukee Police Department
statistics show there's a high rate of violent crime perpetrated by youth on victims
who are also youth.
MPP submissions are due no later than Thursday, May 21, 2015

Street. Parking tickets must be validated in the first floor Information Booth in City Hall.
Persons engaged in lobbying as defined in s. 305-43-4 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances
are required to register with the City Clerk's Office License Division. Registered lobbyists
appearing before a Common Council committee are required to identify themselves as such.
