Call to Order at 4:45 P.M. 2. Roll Call. Members present: May Tietyen-Mlengana Ellzey Haywood, II Wade Ali Zollicoffer Jaeckels Estremera-Maldonado Brunson Hoeschen Hines The pledge of allegiance was said. 3. Inauguration of Milwaukee Youth Council Members. Mr. Jim Owzarski gave oath to all Youth council members. Ms. Sarah Zarate addressed the council on behalf of Common Council President, Michael Murphy. Members of Gary Indiana Youth Council addressed the council. Ald. Witkowski, Ald. Wade, Ald. Borkowski and former Council President Willie Hines were also present. 4. Introduction of Members. Members introduced to the council, themselves, family members and friends that were accompanying them. 5. Election of Officers. After nominations were offered members voted for the president and vice-president positions to the youth council. This meeting will be webcast live at www.milwaukee.gov/channel25. Members of the Common Council and its standing committees who are not members of this committee may attend this meeting to participate or to gather information. Notice is given that this meeting may constitute a meeting of the Common Council or any of its standing committees, although they will not take any formal action at this meeting. Upon reasonable notice, efforts will be made to accommodate the needs of persons with disabilities through sign language interpreters or auxiliary aids. Limited parking for persons attending meetings in City Hall is available at reduced rates (5 hour limit) at the Milwaukee Center on the southwest corner of East Kilbourn and North Water Street. Parking tickets must be validated in the first floor Information Booth in City Hall. Persons engaged in lobbying as defined in s. 305-43-4 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances are required to register with the City Clerk's Office License Division.
