Roll Call Present 8 - Haywood II, Hoeschen, McDade, Gloria Gonzales, Brown, Gambrell-Toliver, Devine Handy and Alcantara Absent 3 - Hines, Lofton and Truss Excused 1 - Estremera-Maldonado 3. 2017 MYC priorities updates - a. Creation of panels within MPS schools to reduce public violence, segregation and increase intergration. b. Create/implement a car theft #NoFreeRide and safe driving campaign c. To repair/clean up public parks/tot lots with the cooperation of MKE plays, if possible d. Cognitive behavioral therapy Department of Public Relations took videos of the members for the #NoFreeRide Campaign. 4. Follow-up to Black History Month program Members continue discussions and scenario rehearsals of their role in the program for the Black History Month. 5. Suggestions for New Business Items to be consider in future meetings are 2017 RFP and possibility of having a social media posting on a regular basis. 6. Whether a simultaneous meeting is occurring depends on whether the presence of one or more of the Common Council member results in a quorum of the Common Council or any of the above committees, and, if there is a quorum of another committee, whether any agenda items listed above involve matters within that committee’s realm of authority. In the event that a simultaneous meeting is occurring, no action other than information gathering will be taken at the simultaneous meeting. Persons engaged in lobbying as defined in s. 305-43-4 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances are required to register with the City Clerk's Office License Division.
