CITY OF MONROE LICENSE COMMITTEE MINUTES DATE: MONDAY, APRIL 13, 2026 TIME: 4:45 PM PLACE: COUNCIL CHAMBERS - 1110 18TH AVENUE A. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL The License Committee meeting was called to order on Monday, April 13, 2026, at 4:45 PM. Present in person were Christopher Vestin, Tom Miller, Corinne Wartenweiler and Richard Thoman. B. CORRECTION OF MINUTES - MARCH 23, 2026 The meeting from March 23, 2026 were accepted as presented. C. BUSINESS 1. Discussion and Possible Recommendation to Common Council the Temporary "Class B" Fermented Malt Beverage and Wine License and Beer Garden Application for GCDC in Conjunction with City of Monroe's Pocket Park Event Alder Wartenweiler expressed concern regarding the issuance of a Temporary Class B license for a family-oriented event. A motion was made by Miller, seconded by Wartenweiler, to approve and recommend to Common Council. The motion passed 3-1, by the following vote: AYES:Tom Miller, Richard Thoman, Christopher Vestin NOES:Corinne Wartenweiler ABSENT:None ABSTAINED: None D. BUSINESS PRESENTED BY MEMBERS E. ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Thoman, seconded by Miller, to adjourn at 4:50 PM.
