A. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
B. CORRECTION OF MINUTES - APRIL 8 & 16, 2026
Motion by Amanda Fields to approve the minutes from April 8 & 16, 2026, seconded
by Robin McLeish. On a roll call vote, the motion passed unanimously.
C. BUSINESS: OPEN

Discussion and Possible Action Related to the Recruitment and
Possible Appointment of the City of Monroe Chief of Police
Commissioner Deininger gave a brief summary of the hiring and interview
process that was conducted at the previous meeting.
Motion by Jerry Guth to appoint Nathan Foltz as the City of Monroe Chief of Police,
effective upon the retirement of Police Chief Fred Kelley on June 7, 2026.
Seconded by Amanda Fields. On a roll call vote, the motion passed unanimously.
Nathan Foltz said a few words thanking the commission.
D. ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Jerry Guth to adjourn at 3:05 PM, seconded by Amanda Fields. On a
voice vote, the motion passed unanimously.

related to any item on this agenda.
