CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL The Public Safety Committee meeting was called to order on Monday, April 13, 2026, at 4:51 PM. Present in person were Lynne Kleven, Craig Franke, Corinne Wartenweiler, and Matt Sheaffer. B. CORRECTION OF MINUTES - MARCH 23, 2026 The March 23, 2026, minutes were accepted as presented. C. BUSINESS PRESENTED BY POLICE DEPARTMENT 1. Approval and Recommendation of Special Event Permit: Main Street Monroe's Outdoor Farmer's Market A motion was made by Franke, seconded by Sheaffer, to approve and recommend to Common Council. The motion passed 4-0, by the following vote: AYES:Lynne Kleven, Corinne Wartenweiler, Matt Sheaffer, Craig Franke NOES:None ABSENT:None ABSTAINED: None 2. Approval and Recommendation of Special Event Permit: City of Monroe's Night Market & Pocket Park Opening Ceremony A motion was made by Franke, seconded by Kleven, to approve and recommend to Common Council. The motion passed 4-0, by the following vote:  AYES: Lynne Kleven, Corinne Wartenweiler, Matt Sheaffer, Craig Franke NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAINED: None D. BUSINESS BY MEMBERS E.
