Minutes Town of Mooresville Board of Adjustment May 12, 2025 4:00 PM - Mooresville Town Hall Members Present: Chair Andrew Wingo, Vice Chair Jason Overturf, Richard Poore, and Michael Famularo. Members Absent: Mike Jones and Matthew Harrow. Also Present: Planning Director Erika Martin, Senior Planner Sandy Howell, Planning Specialist Danielle Upright, Assistant Town Attorney Carey Austin, Staff Attorney Caline Schecter, and Planning Administrator Lisa Smith. 1. Call to Order Chair Andrew Wingo called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm 2. Chairperson's Welcome and Opening 3. Pledge of Allegiance 4. Postponement or Withdrawal Requests There were no postponements or withdrawals. 5. Consideration of Approval of Minutes 5. a Consider approval of April 14, 2025, Minutes ACTION: A motion was made by Michael Famularo, seconded by Jason Overturf, to approve the minutes as presented. The motion carried unanimously. 6. Old Business Sworn in for this case: Erika Martin-Planning Director Sandy Howell-Senior Planner Jessie Hanlin-Engineer with Blue Ridge Engineering Dale Hilderbran-Land Surveyor James Surane-Attorney 6.a Consider Watershed Density Averaging Certificate (WDAC-2025-01) for 106 Bridgewater Lane (Lot 2 Watermark Shopping Center). Mr. Surane and Mrs. Schecter questioned Mr. Hanlin and Mr. Hilderbran concerning the subject property, appropriate buffers, and the accuracy of the survey. As there seemed to be some apparent errors in the exhibits presented, Mr. Surane asked the Board to consider continuing the matter so that these could be corrected.” ACTION: A motion was made by Richard Poore, seconded by Michael Famularo, to continue WDAC-2025-01 until next month's meeting. The motion carried unanimously. 7. New Business There was no new business. 8. Administrative Items There was a discussion held about the upcoming meeting. 9. Adjournment ACTION: A motion was made by Jason Overturf, seconded by Michael Famularo, to adjourn the meeting at 5:01. The motion carried unanimously.
