contract for abatement of trip hazards at numerous town facilities to Precision Safe
Sidewalks LLC. In accordance with TIPS purchasing agreement 220903 for an

approved in the fiscal year 2025 operating budget and are a component of the ADA

6.f Consider a request from the Legal Department to adopt a resolution (1) authorizing the
disposal of two parcels of property, PIN 4667-37-6361 and 4667-37-7491, by private
sale at the negotiated price of $21,500 to Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region,
inc. ("Habitat"), (2) granting a permanent storm drainage easement over Parcel 4667-
47-3324 to Habitat, and (3) finding that the Town does not have an interest in a parcel
measuring approximately 1,372 square feet, or 0.0315 acres, that lies between Parcel ID
4667-37-6361, owned by the Town, and Parcel ID 4667-3783-51, owned by Habitat and
authorizing the execution of a Quitclaim Deed to Habitat for such parcel. (pages 69-97)

6.g Consider a request from the Parks & Recreation Department to adopt a Resolution to
amend Town of Mooresville Contract #24-344 - Pool Management & Facility Use with
Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) of Greater Charlotte by extending the term
of the contract to October 31, 2027 and increasing the amount of the contract by
$314,706 to provide personnel, operations, and management of the War Memorial Pool

Renovations Project to J. Cumby Construction, Inc. in an amount not to exceed
$8,043,000.00, and the associated budget ordinance amendment. Contract #25-289
Consider approving a Resolution to Award the Water Treatment Plant No. 1
Renovations Project to J. Cumby Construction, Inc. in an amount not to exceed
$8,043,000.00, and the associated budget ordinance amendment. This project
includes replacement of an existing clearwell, improvements in backwash and high
service pumping systems, generator and electrical improvements and associated
piping and valve replacement. The project was awarded $9,500,000 in American
Rescue Plan Act funding. Construction duration is 620 days from Notice to Proceed,
and includes intermediate milestones for coordination of plant shutdowns and
substantial completion. Per federal regulations attached to funding, the project must
be completed no later than December 31, 2026. (pages 106-148)
