Mundelein Foreign Fire Tax Board Meeting May 20, 2024 Minutes CALL TO ORDER Called to Order at 0839 ADDITIONS OR DELETIONS TO AGENDA ATTENDANCE OFFICERS PRESENT: Bill Lark, Angel Gonzaga, Brian Jones, Joel Kuester OFFICERS NOT PRESENT: David Brimmer, Greg Kornfeind, Kurt Rodewald MEMBERS PRESENT: Jeremy Lockwood, Dan Buhrmester, Brett Clark, Dan Mastandrea, Steve D’Incognito MINUTES APPROVAL Motion to approve minutes for April 8th meeting made by Lark. Motion seconded by Gonzaga. Motion approved REPORTS REPORTS Motion to approve treasury report for period April 8th to May 19th made by Gonzaga, second motion made by Kuester. Motion passed. OLD BUSINESS -Fire store has been postponed due to other emerging issues but is expected to open in the next few weeks. -Vehicle Detailing completed on all front line vehicles, item still earmarked and pending removal. -Genesis E-Tool has arrived, pending purchase for mounting brackets. -All Kitchen items have arrived and are in service at both stations. -Both wood chip smokers arrived and are in service at both stations. -Hose testing is earmarked and scheduled for July 20th. -PPV Fans are ordered and pending shipping at the end of the month OLD BUSINESS NEW BUSINESS NEW BUSINESS -Motion was made to approve no more than $6,200 for 1,000 challenge coins from custom tooling. Motion was made by Lark, second by Kuester. Motion passed. -Motion was made to approve no more than $10,000 for replacement of apparatus computers with Ipads, with mounting and charging accessories. Motion was made by Kuester, second by Lark. Motion when to members present and votes are as follows: In favor: Lark, Kuester, Mastandrea, Clark, D’Incognito, Lockwood Opposed: Gonzaga, Buhrmester - Motion passed -Motion to approve $3,200 for two Wye valves to be placed on fire apparatus was made by Gonzaga, second by Kuester.
