Mundelein Foreign Fire Tax Board Meeting August 19, 2024 Minutes CALL TO ORDER Meeting called to order at 0841 ADDITIONS OR DELETIONS TO AGENDA ATTENDANCE OFFICERS PRESENT: Bill Lark, Angel Gonzaga, Greg Kornfeind, David Brimmer, Kurt Rodewald OFFICERS NOT PRESENT: Brian Jones, Joel Kuester MEMBERS PRESENT: Jeremy Lockwood, Marcin Bednarski, Patrick Collins, Michael Lord, Michael Akers, Damien Iskra, Jacob Ellegood, Johnathan Sinclair, Gilberto Rubio MINUTES APPROVAL MINUTES APPROVAL Motion to approve minutes for May 20th meeting made by Gonzaga. Motion seconded by Brimmer. Motion approved. REPORTS REPORTS OLD BUSINESS OLD BUSINESS -Fire store has been postponed due to other emerging issues. Opening date TBD. -Vehicle Detailing completed and invoiced -Genesis E-Tool placed in service along with mounting brackets -Hose testing took place July 20th and invoiced -PPV Fans arrived and are in service -Challenge coins moving forward with designing, will be ordered once the design is complete. -Ipads and mounting brackets arrived and are pending placement in all fire apparatus -Wye valves ordered and pending invoice NEW BUSINESS NEW BUSINESS -Motion to approve $5,500 for a Rogan shoe store account for members was made by Kornfeind. Voting went to present membership and unanimously passed. -Motion to approve $2,000 for an employee and alumni dinner hosted at the Fire station was made by Brimmer. All members voted in favor and motion passed unanimously. -Motion to approve $3,500 made for new patio furniture for Fire Station 1 made by Kornfeind, second by Gonzaga. Motion passed after a unanimous vote in favor. -Motion to approve $5,000 for 4 sets of specialty designed fire station shirts made by Kornfeind. Voting went to present membership and unanimously passed NEXT MEETING - November 18, 2024 ADJOURNMENT Ajdornment at 0859
