CALL MEETING TO ORDER & MEETING RECORDING ANNOUNCEMENT
Chairperson Keil called the meeting to order at 10:01 am. and stated that the meeting will be
recorded.

Present: Board Members Gary Boisits, Jeremy Keil, Henry Posbrig, Cyndi Schmear, Mara Spring
(Arrived 10:04 am)
Others Present: Attorney Warchol, City Clerk Roller, Assistant Deputy Clerk-Treasurer Crisp,
Assessor Monroe, Assessor 2 DePalma, Legal Intern Degner.
STATEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE
City Clerk Roller stated that the meeting was noticed in accordance with the open meeting law on
Thursday, September 4, 2025.

The Board considered the following objections:

The taxpayer appeared before the Board.
Jeremy Keil moved the Assessor’s valuation is correct. Cyndi Schmear seconded. Motion
passed unanimously.
• Chad Goetz Tax Key No. #2282.996.007
W219S10445 Calvin Ct
The taxpayer appeared before the Board.
Jeremy Keil moved the Assessor’s valuation is correct. Posbrig Seconded. Motion passed
unanimously.

The Agent for the taxpayer appeared before the Board and gave testimony relating to the spillway
and loss of frontage, as well as the depreciation factor on addition. Also, the cost basis approach
was used which is atypical.
Jeremy Keil moved the Assessor’s valuation is incorrect and the value of the property is:
Land $311,700
Improvements $205,200
Total $516,900
Mara Spring seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
ADJOURNMENT
Adjourn for Additional Hearings, if Necessary, or in None, Adjourn Sine Die
Mara Spring made a motion that the Board of Review approves the 2024 Assessment Roll as
presented by the Assessor, and having performed all of its statutory duties and completed all of its
work that came before the Board, the Board of Review adjourns sine die subject to the Clerk
fulfilling the statutory duties. Gary Boisits seconded; motion passed unanimously. The Board
adjourned at 12:45 pm.
