Page 1 of 1  CITY OF NAMPA ALCOHOL LICENSE REVIEW COMMITTEE MINUTES City Hall – Council Chambers May 25, 2022 Chairman Jamie Burns called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m. Clerk Haveman took roll with the following committee members in attendance were Chief of Staff Rick Hogaboam, City Clerk Char Tim, Planning and Zoning Senior Planner Parker Bodily (Designated by Rodney Ashby) Building Safety Director Patrick Sullivan and Nampa Police Lieutenant Jamie Burns. Item #1-1. - MOVED by Tim and SECONDED by Hogaboam to approve the ARC Minutes of April 27, 2022 as presented, The Chairman asked for a roll call vote with all Committee Members voting YES. The Chairman declared the MOTION CARRIED Item #1-2. - Action Item: Review Incident Reports for possible City Ordinance and/or License Violations: Report #1 - 2C Family Brewing 1215 1st St S. MOVED by Tim and SECONDED by Hogaboam that a violation of Nampa City Code 5-12-17 lll. B. (3) did occur at 2C Family Brewing as presented in the report. The Chairman asked for a roll call vote with all Committee Members voting YES. The Chairman declared the MOTION CARRIED MOVED by Tim and SECONDED by Hogaboam to access a penalty of .5 points against 2C Family Brewing for the violation. After discussion Committee member Tim amended her motion to include a probation period of 6 months. This was SECONDED by Hogaboam. The Chairman asked for a roll call vote with all Committee Members voting YES. The Chairman declared the MOTION CARRIED Report #2 – Buffalo Wild Wings Grill and Bar 2111 N Cassia Street MOVED by Hogaboam and SECONDED by Sullivan that a violation of Nampa City Code 5-12-17 lll. B. (3) did occur at Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar as presented in the report. The Chairman asked for a roll call vote with all Committee Members voting YES. The Chairman asked for a roll call vote with all Committee Members voting YES. The Chairman declared the MOTION CARRIED Report #3 – Maverik - 2211 N Franklin Blvd. MOVED by Sullivan and SECONDED by Hogaboam that a violation of Nampa City Code 5-12-17 lll. B. (3) did occur at Maverik as presented in the report. The Chairman asked for a roll call vote with all Committee Members voting YES. The Chairman declared the MOTION CARRIED MOVED by Burns and SECONDED by Tim to access a penalty of .5 points and 6 months’ probation against Maverik for the violation. MOVED by Hogaboam and SECONDED by Tim that a violation of Nampa City Code 5-12-17 lll. B. (9) did occur at Pete’s Tavern as presented in the report. The Chairman asked for a roll call vote with all Committee Members voting YES. The Chairman declared the MOTION CARRIED MOVED by Tim and SECONDED by Hogaboam to access a penalty of .5 points and 6 months’ probation against Pete’s Tavern for the violation. The Chairman asked for a roll call vote with all Committee Members voting YES. The Chairman declared the MOTION CARRIED Report #5 – Tiny’s Lounge 10 12th Ave S. MOVED by Tim and SECONDED by Hogaboam that a violation of Nampa City Code 5-12-17 lll. B. (9) did occur at Tiny’s Lounge as presented in the report. The Chairman asked for a roll call vote with all Committee Members voting YES. The Chairman declared the MOTION CARRIED (2) Staff Communications Item #2-1. - City Clerk’s Office City Clerk & ARC Committee member Tim gave a report on the status of alcohol renewals for the upcoming year. Item #2-2. - Nampa Police Department ARC Chairman Burns discussed the notification process for those that were found in violation. MOVED by Hogaboam and SECONDED by Tim to adjourn the meeting at 4:15 p.m. The Chairman asked all in favor say aye with all Committee Members present voting AYE.
