Action Item: Authorize Nampa Family Justice Center (NFJC) to accept Idaho’s Statewide STOP Violence Against Women Program 2024 grant funds from Idaho State Police. The grant will be used to support a portion of the Victim Liaison’s salary and benefits, sexual assault advocacy hours, office supplies, and the forensic cell phone software annual cost. In addition, crisis counseling for victims, domestic violence exams, advocacy and trial preparation hours will be supported with grant funds. The amount of the grant award is $104,244 and the award period is from January 1, 2025 - December 31, 2025. Match includes administrative staff and volunteer time. There is no City match. Action Item: Authorize Nampa Family Justice Center (NFJC) to submit for the Idaho Council on Domestic Violence and Victim Assistance State grant (Fiscal Year 2026) to be used to help fund 11 current NFJC positions.
