Councilman Josh McBroom asked if any of the more costly remediated items
lower future maintenance expenses?
Macarena (Rena) Tamayo-Calabrese responded in the affirmative, using the
low-maintenance roof installed on Meeting House as an example.
Mayor Scott Wehrli noted that the City of Naperville procurement program was
used for some things on the list. He asked for feedback.
Harriet M. Pistorio replied that she likes it and it saves a lot of time.
Receive Naper Settlement Master Plan Update
Macarena (Rena) Tamayo-Calabrese explained that there have been two
master plan meetings so far and the team working on it is impressive. It's
complex because there are so many different pieces to it, requiring varied
professional expertise. It should be completed by July and will be a fifteen year
plan. Once completed, the plan will be presented to both boards for approval.
The City of Naperville's contribution is expected to be $50,000 with Naperville
Heritage Society contributing $150,000.
Mayor Scott Wehrli stated that the plan should be presented to City Council for
