CALL TO ORDER: The taskforce meeting was called to order at 5:37 p.m. B. ROLL CALL: Taskforce members present: Commissioners Greene Robb, Losurdo and Li Also present: Chairman Kovener Staff present: Dawn Portner, Special Events Coordinator C. PUBLIC FORUM: No speakers for Public Forum D. OLD BUSINESS: There were no Old Business items to discuss. E. NEW BUSINESS: Discuss and develop a draft Vision Statement for the SECA Grant Program The Commissioners discussed the definition of a vision statement and reviewed several vision statements from top private companies and arts councils. The following is a draft of the SECA Vision Statement: " We believe social events and artistic experiences inspire community and create opportunities for Naperville" The Commissioners also discussed removing the words: "and its vision" from the current SECA Mission statement. If this step is recommended the Mission statement would read: "To create opportunities to provide social events and artistic experiences for Naperville". F.
