CALL TO ORDER: Chairwoman Brodhead called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. B. ROLL CALL: Present 10 - Judith Brodhead, Vasavi Chakka, Nancy Chen, Vicki Coletta, Natalia Dagenhart, Rich Gannon, Shannon Greene Robb, Tom Miers, David Scriven-Young, and Arthur Zards Excused 1- Theresa Sullivan Commissioner Zards participated via teleconference Also Present: Student Commissioner Priya Thachet; Dawn Portner, Special Events Coordinator C. PUBLIC FORUM: No speakers under Public Forum D. OLD BUSINESS: 1. Approve the SECA Commission workshop minutes of October 12, 2022 Commissioner Scriven-Young made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Miers to approve the SECA Commission workshop minutes of October 12, 2022. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 9- Brodhead, Chakka, Chen, Coletta, Dagenhart, Gannon, Greene Robb, Miers, Scriven-Young, and Zards Excused: 2- Brocato, and Sullivan E. NEW BUSINESS: 1. Discuss the CY23 SECA Grant Fund commissioner allocations and finalize a Commission recommendation for City Council review in February 2023 Chairwoman Brodhead proposed that the Commission accept the average of all recommended allocations listed on the CY23 Combined Commissioners Worksheet and, if approved, it would leave a balance of $5,958 to allocate. Commissioner Miers made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Chakka to accept the average of all recommendations and allocate the remaining funds equally among the five parades. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 9- Brodhead, Chakka, Chen, Coletta, Dagenhart, Gannon, Greene Robb, Miers, Scriven-Young, and Zards Excused: 2- Brocato, and Sullivan F.
