CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Fuhrer called the meeting to order at 6:35 pm. There was no quorum and we therefore we could not vote on any items. B. ROLL CALL: PRESENT: Arista Wang arrived late to the meeting. Sophia Luo, Chairman Lance Fuhrer, Chairman Bill Donofrio, Chairman James Lowe, Chairman Others Present: Councilwoman Patty Gustin Shruti Panse, Student Representative Rachel Pruneda, City Staff Liaison Patty Lindstrom, Sister Cities Foundation Melissa Laskowski, Sister Cities Foundation ABSENT: Peter Foyo, Commissioner Vidya Joshi, Commissioner Neelam Saboo, Treasurer C. PUBLIC FORUM: There were no speakers under Public Forum. D. OLD BUSINESS: E. REPORTS: Approve Sister Cities Commission minutes of August 11, 2021 There was no quorum. Minutes will be approved at the next meeting. Receive and file the Treasurer’s Report for August 2021 Neelam Saboo was not present and there was no report to present. Foundation Update: Patty Lindstrom introduced Melissa Laskowski, their new Treasurer to the Commission. Website Update: There was no update on the website to report. City of Naperville Page 1 Printed on 12/9/2021 Sister Cities Commission Meeting Minutes - Final September 9, 2021 Festival Update: Rachel Pruneda presented the Foundation with a packet of information all related to the Hispanic Fest and Sister Cities Commissioners and the Foundation for review. We discussed the site plan, vendors, and order of events. We also discussed the award recipients, program schedule. Lance stated he would work on the script/introduction. Bill Donofrio went over some of the events related to the Arts Festival. Melissa Laskowski discussed the budget, payments and vendors. F. NEW BUSINESS: G.
