CALL TO ORDER: Sister Cities Meeting was called to order at 6:45 pm, however there being no quorum, no items were voted on. B. ROLL CALL: PRESENT: Becky Rudolph, Lance Fuhrer, Tony Chamberlain ABSENT: Arista Wang, Neelam Saboo, Alan Lowe, Arun Mani Neelam was not present for Roll Call, but arrived later. ALSO PRESENT: Councilwoman Allison Longenbough, Rachel Pruneda C. PUBLIC FORUM: Councilwoman Longenbough is the new Council Liaison for Sister Cities meeting and joined the meeting today.She will be officially appointed at the June 20, 2023 Council meeting. D. OLD BUSINESS: Approve Sister Cities Commission minutes of May 17, 2023 There being no quorum, the Minutes were not approved. Receive and file the Treasurer’s Report through May 2023 There being no quorum, the Treasurer's report was not received and filed. E. REPORTS: CHAIRMAN'S REPORT - LANCE FUHRER Commissioner Fuhrer discussed with the Foundation where they were at with the planning of the Hispanic Festival. SISTER CITIES UPDATE: COMMISSIONER ALAN LOWE Commissioner Lowe was not present for the meeting. OTHER COMMISSIONERS COMMENTS OR UPDATES: Tony Chamberlain has been in touch with Carol Wolfe, President, Illinois Sister Cities Association. She has requested to meet with a couple of the Commissioners and Foundation members to introduce herself. A future meeting will be scheduled. This is a great event and helps market the Hispanic Fest. As part of this event, the Foundation will work on handouts for the parade and paying the parade entry fee. F. NEW BUSINESS: G.
