SUBJ: Proposed Amendment and Scheduling Public Hearing on R-14-001
Based on overwhelming public sentiment expressed to us, Leadership Greater Nashua has
requested that I amend R-14-001 so that the playground remains in its current location at
Greeley Park. Therefore in lieu of engaging in an independent study, I am requesting that
the proposed amendment be re-referred to the Committee on Infrastructure.
Additionally in accordance with NRO §5-43, B(5)(a), a public hearing is required for any
proposed construction, including renovation and rehabilitation, at Greeley Park. Therefore,
I am also requesting that a public hearing be scheduled for Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at
7:00 p.m. in the Aldermanic Chamber for the much requested presentation and review of
the engineering and detailed plans regarding this endeavor.
Thank you for your consideration.
