and an Agenda for the April 19, 2012 meeting.
Kerran Vigroux
Kerran invited Nancy Seskes to the meeting today. She won’t be attending regularly;
however, she will be an additional resource for us to go to.
Chris Stawasz
There were no changes in the number of calls or type of calls during February and
March. We believe the mild winter to be a factor.
AMR received their Certificate of Accreditation a couple weeks ago, and on May 10th
there will be a ceremony to officially apply the CAAS logo to the AMR vehicles.
The first meeting was held in late March to develop, plan and perform the first of the
required annual training exercises.
o A target exercise date of mid June is being planned and will involve both
hospitals, the Nashua Fire Department, Nashua Police, Nashua Public Health
and Nashua Transit, as well as other City Agencies.
o We met with Mark Sousa, and he will allow us to have a transit bus to use,
and for the 2nd exercise, we possibly will use a school bus.
AMR Nashua is now registered with Safe Kids®, and has a certified child passenger
safety seat technician on the Nashua staff.
o Kerran: Kids Safety Day is on Saturday, April 28th at City Hall and the
Nashua Public Library.
CQI Report – February 1st through March 31st, 2012

o CPAP/Intubation
Breathing problem situations were discussed
o Patient Satisfaction

Kerran: The response rate was low. How many responses were given
and how many came back?
Chris will check into this.
Kerran: Asked about the MCI Trailer
Per Chris the trailer is here and parked outside their office, and
will be lettered next week.
Kerran: Asked about pre-alert procedures
Chris stated that they are working with the Nashua Fire
Dispatch
Kerran spoke about patient inquiries that have come into the City
It was decided that all patient inquiries, no matter where they
are received, will come to her for handling.
Inquiries have included: Billing questions, issues with the level
of care, service and response time.
She will now take all inquiries, discuss them with Chris and
then call the people back to make sure they are comfortable
with the resolution.
o Last month’s inquiries included 2 billing questions and
1 level of care concern.
o If someone has a concern about how they were treated,
both Chris and Kerran will talk with them.
Kerran asked for any additional questions or comments. There were none.
Kerran opened the meeting to Public questions and comments.
Nancy Seskes asked about the quality of data of a CHF patient
o Ronald Vaillancourt discussed her question.
Kerran Vigroux requested a motion to adjourn.
Fran Dupuis moved to adjourn the meeting.
Mark Hastings seconded the motion.
All in favor: Aye
Meeting ended at 9:45 a.m.
The next AAC Meeting will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., at the City of
Nashua Public Health and Community Services building, located at 18 Mulberry Street, Nashua.
