Meeting called to order at 9:05 a.m. by Kerran Vigroux, DPHCS Director
AAC Members Present:
Kerran Vigroux, Director of Public Health & Community Services
Richard Conway, Captain-Nashua Fire Department
Denis Linehan, Lieutenant-Nashua Police Department
Mark Hastings, Southern NH Medical Center
Justin Kates, City of Nashua, Emergency Management Director
AMR Representatives:

Public Attendees:
None
Members were given Minutes from the August 16, 2012 meeting, the AMR Reports for August
and September 2012, the AMR Annual Report of Activity Summary for the period of October 1,
2011 through September 30, 2012, the City of Nashua CQI Report for Q3 2012 and the Agenda
for the October 17, 2012 meeting.
Motion made to accept the Minutes from the August 16, 2012 meeting.
Richard Conway accepted the motion to approve Minutes

AMR August and September, 2012 Reports
o Working with Angelo Marino on updating maps
o Continuing community involvement
o CPR Program, “Take Ten”
Approximately 1,000 people to be trained throughout the year at no cost
AMR - Annual Report
o Included highlights from the past 12 months
Kerran would like to see more detail by pulling information contained in the
monthly reports.
o Repetitive Patients
Working to find ways we can manage patients’ needs so that they are able to
get other assistance without continued use of the ambulance, as well as
making sure they receive the level of care they need.
This will help reduce the number of unnecessary trips
Thirteen patients are listed as frequent users
Review of the Q3 2012 CQI Report: July 1, 2012 – September 30, 2012
o High level of aspirin protocol adherence
o Caring for Maria
o Looking for ways to improve care
o Patient Satisfaction
Billing offices are currently in OH and CA
o AMR may be opening a billing office in NH that will cover NH and ME; working for
final approval.
Kerran asked if there were any questions for Chris. There were none.
Kerran is working with the AMR team, and others from the City, on their annual audit
This will probably take 30 days
In light of the fact that AMR will be involved in the November 3rd disaster drill, Mark
requested that consideration be made that their requirement to have two disasters per year be
reduced to one, and that this drill fulfill their second requirement.
o Kerran supports this recommendation, but would like to have scenarios and an “After
Action” report.
o Mark will provide this information, which will show what they did to fulfill that
requirement.
o This item was tabled, with the intent of voting when the documentation has been
received.
This will be addressed as “New Business” at the December 2012 meeting.
o This disaster drill is scheduled for November 3rd at Southern NH Medical Center on
November 3rd from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon.
Kerran opened the meeting to Public questions and comments. There were none.
Kerran Vigroux requested a motion to adjourn.
Richard Conway moved to adjourn the meeting.
Mark Hastings seconded the motion.

The next AAC Meeting will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., at the City of
Nashua, Public Health and Community Services building, located at 18 Mulberry Street, Nashua.
