MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE NASHUA ARTS COMMISSION November 10, 2015 CITY HALL, NASHUA NH Members in attendance: Amy DeRoche, John Egan, Liz Racioppi, Bonnie Guerico, Tracy Hatch, Paul LaFlamme and Kathy Hersh. Called to order: 8:05am 1. Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was VOTED to approve the previous meeting’s minutes, distributed by Amy DeRoche. 2. On Tuesday 11/17 and Thursday 11/19, the PAC Feasibility Study committee will be meeting with prospective companies to perform the study. The goal is to decide on a company before Thanksgiving. Amy DeRoche and Eric Valliere are the representatives on the committee. 3. Amy reported that she was given contact information for a representative from the NEA who can potentially help us with a grant writing workshop sometime in the spring. 4. It was decided to invite Tom Galligani and Sarah Marchant to our meetings from now on so we can be better connected with the city’s plans. 5. The question was raised regarding what the NAC should or should not be involved with, according to our charter. The group decided that the next meeting should be a strategy session to discuss our charter and what we want our direction to be. We would then present this to Mayor Elect Donchess. The charter for the NAC is broad. We need to answer the questions: What do we do? How do we define ourselves? Liz will look into potential people to facilitate the meeting. Meeting adjourned: 9:15am
