Regarding A-9’s submitted by several non-profit organizations past the due date of April 15, 2010, the Board
asked the reason each of the organizations A-9 was filed late and the following motion was made:
MOTION BY Marylou Blaisdell to approve the filing of these A-9 forms submitted after the due date of April
15, 2010 as the reason is due to accident, mistake or misfortune.
SECONDED BY Dominic D’Antoni.
MOTION CARRIED
Mr. Marino told the Board that he would just like to give them a heads up that Grace Fellowship has submitted
an A-9 for a property on which the deed was recorded at the Hillsborough County Registry of Deeds on April 5,
2010. Since the deed was recorded after April 1st, the Church was told this may be denied by the Board of
Assessors since the property was not owned by Grace Fellowship Church as of April 1, 2010. Their attorney
has since submitted paperwork that may indicate the actual transfer of ownership may have occurred April 1,
2010 in which case the property would qualify to receive a property tax exemption for 2010. After more
information is received this will be brought before the Board of Assessors for their review.
Old Business: None
MOTION BY Dominic D’Antoni to adjourn at 8:55 AM.
SECONDED BY Kevin Moriarty.
MOTION CARRIED unanimously.
