Appointments:
8:30 – Ms. Mary Brown of Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity – regarding late filing of
the A-9 Form
Ms. Mary Brown was welcomed by the Board. Chair Marylou Blaisdell advised she
understands the A-9 for the property on Ridge Street owned by the Greater Nashua Habitat for
Humanity was filed late. She asked when it was received and was told last week. Ms. Brown
told the Board that the organization has moved its offices and due to confusion around the move
and some miscommunication, the A-9 was not filed. Ms. Blaisdell asked what is on the lot and
Ms. Brown explained that a barn was demolished and before they can build on it there are some
things that need to be done but for now it is just a vacant lot. The Board was told the lot was
granted a charitable exemption due to it being part of the surplus of this organization for
fulfilling its mission to provide residential space for low-income families. After some discussion
the Board made the following motion:
MOTION BY Marylou Blaisdell to accept the late filing of the 2011 A-9 form for the property
located at 7 ½ Ridge Street and owned by the Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity due to
accident, mistake or misfortune.
SECONDED BY Kevin Moriarty.

each signed.
