Minutes of the Board of Assessors Meeting of July 28, 2011 A meeting of the Board of Assessors was held on Thursday, July 28, 2011, in the Legal Department Conference Room, 3rd floor of City Hall. The meeting was called to order at 8:15 AM by Chair Marylou Blaisdell. Members Present: Marylou Blaisdell Kevin Moriarty Dominic D’Antoni Assessing Staff Present: Angelo Marino Drew Lemay Doug Dame Cheryl Walley Minutes of the Meeting: Minutes of the meeting June 30, 2011 were approved. Abatement Requests Presented: A complete listing of all abatements approved/denied is available in the Assessor’s Office. Chair Marylou Blaisdell asked if it will be necessary to have two meetings in August this year. Chief Assessor Angelo Marino, noting the next meeting is scheduled for just next Thursday, said there is no need to have that meeting but the following meeting will be necessary. The Board concurred that next Thursday’s meeting, scheduled for August 4, 2011, should be cancelled and the next meeting will be held as scheduled on August 18, 2011. Appointments: None.
