None.
Abatement Requests Presented:
A complete listing of all abatements approved/denied is available in the Assessor’s Office.
Residential Appraiser, Greg Turgiss, presented an abatement for a condominium located within
Ternbury Square development. Mr. Dominic D’Antoni pointed out that the proposed
assessment is 18% lower than the original assessment and asked if this might cause inequity of
assessments within the development. Mr. Turgiss said that this is an area that he had done a lot
of work on last year due to several abatements being filed. We considered looking at it more
closely for 2012 but decided against it as there had not been a high percentage of abatements
filed to warrant it.
Mr. George Farrington asked how the equalization ratio for Nashua compares to other
communities and Mr. LeMay answered that most are at 100-110%.
MOTION BY Dominic D'Antoni to adjourn at 8:35 AM.
SECONDED BY George Farrington.
MOTION CARRIED.
