Minutes of the Board of Assessors Meeting of June 25, 2015 A meeting of the Board of Assessors was held on Thursday, June 25, 2015 in Room 208, 2nd floor of City Hall. The meeting was called to order at 8:15 AM by Chair Dominic D’Antoni. Members Present: Dominic D’Antoni Daniel Gagnon Assessing Staff Present: Angelo Marino Louise Brown Andrew LeMay Doug Dame Greg Turgiss Gary Turgiss Cheryl Walley Minutes of the Meeting: The minutes for the meeting held on June 4, 2015 were approved. Abatement Requests Presented: A complete list is available in the Assessor’s Office. Appointments: None. Staff Items: The members were presented two applications for a 2014 tax deferral , one for the property located at 17 Hollow Ridge Road and the other for the property located at 3 Twelfth Street. The owner of the property at 17 Hollow Ridge Road checked off she is not receiving benefits under Title II or Title XVI of the Federal Social Security act and therefore would not meet the criteria. The following motion was made: MOTION BY Daniel Gagnon to deny the 2014 tax deferral for the property located at 17 Hollow Ridge Road as the applicant does not meet the criteria set by RSA 72:38-a. SECONDED BY Dominic D’Antoni. MOTION CARRIED. The application was incomplete for 3 Twelfth Street as the required paperwork was not filed. The following motion was made: 1 of 2 MOTION BY Daniel Gagnon to deny the 2014 tax deferral for the property located at 3 Twelfth Street as the application was incomplete and the applicant has not proven the criteria set by RSA 72:38-a is met. SECONDED BY Dominic D’Antoni. MOTION CARRIED. The members were presented a listing of the charitable, educational and religious exemptions for 2015 and each member signed it approving these exemptions.
