Minutes of the Special Meeting of the Board of Public Works FY11 Operating Budget Workshop February 18, 2010 A Special Meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. at the Division of Public Works, Administration & Engineering Office, 9 Riverside Street, Nashua, NH 03062. Members Present Mayor Donnalee Lozeau, Chairman Leon Kenison, P.E., Director, Public Works Tracy Pappas, Vice Chairman Carolyn O’Connor, DPW Finance Manager Tim Lavoie, Commissioner Steve Dookran, P.E., City Engineer Daniel Gagnon, Commissioner Nick Caggiano, Superintendent, Parks & Recreation Don Dyer, Commissioner Mario Leclerc, Superintendent, WWTF Wayne Husband, Superintendent, Traffic Lisa Fauteux, Superintendent, Solid Waste Roy Sorenson, Superintendent, Streets Kathie Conti for Kathie Berube, Board Clerk Not Present David Deane, Aldermanic Liaison Chair Lozeau opened the meeting at 2:32 p.m. and asked that Kathie Conti call the roll. Discussion: FY11 Operating Budget Workshop Chair Lozeau, Director Kenison, DPW Financial Manager, Carolyn O’Connor and the division’s senior management team reviewed and discussed the divisional budget with the commissioners. Discussion: Holman Stadium Ad Hoc Report – Future Use of Holman Stadium A discussion was had regarding the proposed use of Holman Stadium. MOTION: Commissioner Pappas to adopt the Holman Stadium Ad Hoc report and its recommendations. 1 SECONDED: Commissioner Gagnon. MOTION CARRIED: Unanimous. MOTION TO ADJOURN: Commissioner Lavoie.
