Board of Registrars’ Meeting
February 15, 2013 – 10:00 a.m.
Auditorium, City Hall
Present: Kathryn Fogal and Patricia Lucier. Also present: City Clerk Paul Bergeron.
1. K. Fogal called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m.
2. P. Lucier moved to accept the minutes of Board of Registrars’ meeting of November 1, 2012. K.
Fogal seconded. Motion passed.
3. P. Lucier moved to accept the City Clerk’s report on deletions, additions and corrections to the
checklist. Seconded by K. Fogal. Motion passed.
4. P. Lucier moved that the Board certify the checklist for use at the State Special Election on February
19, 2013. Seconded by K. Fogal. Motion passed.
5. P. Lucier moved for the appointment of the following individual to serve as Deputy Voter Registrar
in Ward 4 for the State Special Election:
VIVIANA FIGUEROA 8 AM - 6 PM
Seconded by K. Fogal. Motion passed.
6. The City Clerk reported that there had been no further communication from the Attorney General’s
Office relative to the city’s complaint regarding the residential address provided by C. Bachelder at
the time he registered to vote. This individual did change his address on election day, November 6,
2012.
7. The City Clerk summarized other voter registration activities and issues during the November 6,
2012 State General Election.
8. Under other business the Registrars requested the following:
a. That the City Clerk notify the Attorney General’s Office of an incident regarding an individual
mistaken for another family member at the checklist table and given a ballot;
b. That the City Clerk’s Office provide voter registrars with a citywide checklist as a pdf file for
use at the polls;
c. That the City Clerk’s Office provide voter registrars and poll workers with the city street and
ward list as a pdf file for use at the polls; and
d. That election officials post the list of streets in their ward so that voters can confirm they are in
the right ward before getting to the checklist or voter registration table.
9. Meeting adjourned at 10:55 a.m.

on February 19, 2013.
5. Appointment of Deputy Voter Registrar for the February 19 State Special Election in
Ward 4:

6. Status on complaint forwarded to Attorney General, re: Cody Bachelder.
