In accordance with NRO 5-132(c), the City accepted and appropriated unanticipated funds of less than
$25,000 from the following agencies for the purposes as described:

Purpose: This private grant assists in offsetting the
cost of providing various community events
(musical, educational and humanities programs) to
the citizens of the Greater Nashua Community
GIS Thoreau's Landing Condominium Association $ 6,000
323-6123 Process LIDAR Data
Purpose: This grant award will process LIDAR
data point information to enable the extraction and
placement of topographic and physical features in
the City's GIS system.
Police New Hampshire Highway Safety Agency $ 4,125
331-6237 "Join the NH Clique" Seat Belt Campaign
Purpose: This grant award will fund the overtime
costs of off duty officers to enforce rules of the
road as part of a Nationwide effort designed to
stimulate voluntary compliance with seat belt laws.
Police New Hampshire Highway Safety Agency $ 2,250
331-6250 Statewide DWI Hunter Patrols
Purpose: This grant award will fund the overtime
costs of off duty officers to participate in the
statewide Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) Hunter
Program designed to reduce DWI through
voluntary compliance and enforcement action. (-continued-)

Purpose: This grant award will fund the overtime
costs of off duty officers to address the problems of
pedestrians J-walking and motorists violating the
crosswalk ordinance.
Police New Hampshire Highway Safety Agency $ 5,192
331-6262 Red Light Running
Purpose: This grant award will fund the overtime
costs of off duty officers to monitor traffic lights at
problem intersections in the City. The officers will
enforce all rules of the road and take enforcement
action when needed.
Police Target $ 1,000
331-6275 Crime Scene Documentation
Purpose: This grant award will fund the
replacement of broken and outdated street
supervisor cameras.
Police New Hampshire Highway Safety Agency $ 5,500
331-6280 Speed Enforcement Patrols
Purpose: This grant award will fund the overtime
costs of off duty officers in order to force voluntary
compliance of posted speed linlits within the City
through high visibility and enforcement action.
Police New Hampshire Highway Safety Agency $ 3,600
331-6281 Speed Enforcement Equipment
Purpose: This grant award will assist in the
funding of new radar systems, to be permanently
installed in Nashua Police Department patrol
vehicles.
332-6328 New Hampshire Department of Safety $ 8,192
State Homeland Security Funds
Purpose: This grant award will fund upgrades to
the Safe Site Chemical Detection Equiplnent
previously funded with 2004 Homeland Security
Funds.
305-6013 Public Service Company of New Hampshire $ 15,398
Energy Efficient Lighting Improvements
Purpose: This grant award will assist in the
funding of energy efficient lighting improvements
at the Education & Government Channel studio.
