CAPITAL EQUIPMENT RESERVE FUND (CERF) MEETING MINUTES For the meeting of October 15, 2014 Members Present: Mayor Donnalee Lozeau Alderman David W. Deane, President BOA David Fredette, Treasurer/Tax Collector Members Absent: Non-Members Present: Karen Smith, Business Mgr. Police Dept. Capt. Scott Hammond, Police Dept. John Griffin, CFO/Comptroller Brian Sojka, Supervisor Fleet Maint. Mayor Lozeau called the meeting to order at 4:05 P.M. Mayor Lozeau moved to accept the minutes of the July 29, 2104 meeting – motion passed. The CERF request were reviewed and discussed as listed. Requests from CERF – Police Department 2014/2015 1. Treasurer Fredette moved and Alderman Deane seconded the approval for the Police Department to purchase a 2014 Interceptor for $35,769 to replace 2013 Ford Taurus that was totaled in a recent accident. Motion passed. 2. Treasurer Fredette moved and Alderman Deane seconded the approval for Police Department to purchase seven (7) Uniform Patrol Vehicles Interceptors for approximately $242,071 as schedule in the CERF list. Motion passed. 3. Treasurer Fredette moved and Alderman Deane seconded the approval for the Police Department to purchase one (1) 3500 Chevrolet Cargo Van needed for Prisoner transportation as schedule in the CERF list for approximately $37,425. Motion passed. 4. Treasurer Fredette moved and Alderman Deane seconded the approval for the Police Department to purchase one (1) 2500 Chevrolet Cargo Van to replace the Animal Control Van as scheduled in the CERF list for approximately $34,140. Motion Passed 5. Treasurer Fredette moved and Alderman Deane seconded the approval for the Police Department to replace one (1) Building Maintenance Tahoe with a Ford F250 XL pickup truck with plow for approximately $29,942. Motion passed. Motion to Adjourn A motion was made by Treasurer Fredette to adjourn the meeting at 4:20 P.M. The motion passed.
