Hunt and Harris Funds/Bach’s Lunch Committee Meeting Minutes February 21, 2011 East Wing Nashua Public Library Meeting convened at 9:35 am. Present: Art Olsson, Jane Hanle-Olsson, Carol Luers Eyman, Judy Cudhea, Gillian Hinkle The expendable income available from the Hunt fund is $1448.83 and from the Harris Fund is $769.67. The committee decided to spend that amount (total of $2218.50) along with $1781.50 of library funds on Bach’s Lunch concerts this summer, for a total of $4000. In addition, the committee will ask Gregory Newton to attempt to book one concert with a Lithuanian performer and/or music. Carol will ask the Nashua Public Library trustees to allocate money from the Zylonis Fund to pay for that concert. Six concerts were scheduled for 2012: July 11, 18, 25, August 1, 8, 15, all Wednesdays at noon. Several performers were discussed as possibilities for Gregory to book. Greg will be asked to report back to us on their prices and availability at the next meeting. The hope is to get most of the acts booked in time to be listed in the SummerFun calendar (deadline April 1).
