SMART Report: None Outreach & Education: None Public Information: New Facebook and Twitter account for emergency management was placed online this month. OEM will be putting more information up throughout the month. Old Business: EOP Update – Justin was going to bring a sample of the new Position Specific Guide being developed to supplement the EOP. Forgot to bring the copy so will send out to LEPC members. Will be utilized for those in the EOC and involved in response within the City but could also serve as an example for those in the private sector. Family Emergency Preparedness Day 2012 - EMD and COAD members met with Pheasant Lane Mall Manager and Marking Director this month to tie down details. Will be putting committee together to start the planning of the event and to tie down a specific day on a weekend in September (National Preparedness Month). Mayor was interested in seeing the event held. Ed Lecius mentioned that similar safety oriented events have been held at the Mall in the past and have been very successful. October Nor’easter AAR - Due to be sent out on 2/7/12 if there are no delays in approval. FEMA Reimbursement – City just finished up their reimbursement process through FEMA for the October Nor’easter. For those Non-profits that are not familiar with the process, you may be eligible for funding. SNHMC put in during this process. New Business: Sheltering Focus Group – Held 2/1/12, provided a lot of great information on the sheltering issues. Will send out minutes to LEPC group. Information Sharing Focus Group – Held in Jan, currently working with City IT to determine a good real time mapping system to report wires and trees down. Important for all involved in incident response to get WebEOC training. (WebEOC training in State EOC in Concord every 2nd Thursday from 1pm to 4pm) Contact Justin Kates to sign up. Will send out minutes to LEPC group. Tier II Reporting – To simplify your Tier II reporting, please submit it digitally using TierIISubmit to the Fire Marshal’s office at royd@nashuanh.gov. A total report will be sent to the OEM after all submissions have been sent in. Presentation provided by Justin Kates on the future of disaster volunteer programs in the City of Nashua. LEPC will be held at Dartmouth Hitchcock’s new facility on 2300 Southwood Drive for next meeting. Next meeting on March 1st 2012.
