Mine Falls Park Advisory Committee November 8, 2014 Item Topic Lead Discussion / Conclusions 1. Call to Order Greg Andruskevich Call to Order: 6:35 November minutes approved. Attendees: Pam Anderson, Kim Crider, Greg Andruskevich, Dick Gillespie, Ed Moran, Peter Testa, Nick Caggiano, Nick Serpa, Brian Edwards Guests: None. Presentations/Public comment: None. 2. Park/Rec. Nick Caggiano - Sweatshirt pricing: None yet. Will try to get pricing by January meeting. - Boardwalk update: Permitting & documentation is ongoing preparing to go out to bid for construction. - Canal clean-up: If we want to continue this next year we should start the planning now to be ready when the ice clears on the canal. We may not have to go out to bid (a delay) if the price can be held at the 2014 price. New Committee members: Will be meeting with the Mayor and will discuss new member recruitment. Nick will find the Ad he had for the telegraph and also the slide he had for Nashua CH. 16. 3. Chairman’s Notes Greg Andruskevich Greg expressed thanks to the committee & Nick C. for the efforts in the park this year. He felt it was a productive year over all. Proposed changing May trail day date to the 16th due to Memorial Day weekend. 4. Old Business All None. 5. New Business All - Nick C will arrange for Nick S to work with Kelly in the Park & Rec. office to come up with a suitable public Facebook page for the MFPAC and possibly a twitter account for quick announcements & reminders. - Pam and Kim are going to put together a scavenger hunt in the park to more involve children in the park. They also suggested a Park history day as well.
