Public Comment
Pursuant to Section 8 44 112 of the Tennessee Code Annotated, time is reserved for public comment
on legislative items appearing on this agenda or related to the committee. Members of the public
wishing to speak may sign up on the Council Committee signup sheet posted outside the room where
the committee is scheduled to meet. Public Comment sign up for Council Committee meetings will
end immediately before the meeting begins. Public Comment is limited to eight minutes total at
Council Committee meetings and each speaker is allowed up to two minutes to speak. All public

1. RS2026-2114 A resolution approving an intergovernmental agreement between the
Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, through the
Davidson County Criminal Court Clerk, and the State of Tennessee, through
the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, to establish a collaborative framework
for the digitization of historical criminal court records to support the
enhancement and maintenance of Tennessee's Computerized Criminal History
system and improve the accuracy and completeness of firearm background
checks and criminal history records.

2. RS2026-2119 A resolution appropriating a total of $638,789 from the Metropolitan
Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the
Metropolitan Board of Health, to Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health
Center to implement a culturally tailored education campaign to reach
individuals through various means, train additional primary care providers in
medications for opioid use disorder, and formalize partnerships with trusted
community organizations to host events to reduce the stigma of opioid use
disorder.
