Hynes BOARD OF ETHICS Joe LoVerde Village Hall, Council Chambers Rosemary R. Palicki Louella B. Preston December 18, 2012 – 5:30 p.m. Andrew Przybylo The Board of Ethics meeting was held on Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at the Village Village Clerk Hall. The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Chairman Hynes. Marlene J. Victorine Members Present: Staff Present: Chairman Trustee Jim Hynes Kathy M. Thake, Secretary Matthew Lagodzinski Joseph J. Annunzio, Village Attorney Anthony Gaudio Steve Vinezeano, Acting Village Manager Randy Greco Michael Siegel Approval of Minutes Mr. Greco made a motion, seconded by Mr. Gaudio, to approve the minutes of the November 26, 2012 meeting; on voice vote all concurred. New Business None Comments/Questions from the Public Board Member Gaudio pointed out that this past year he has been approached by Trustees in a manner that was inappropriate. He would like to see more Trustees treat the Board of Ethics members as professionals. Chairman Hynes agreed and stated that the Mayor and Village Manager need to support the Board of Ethics and its actions. Executive Session Motion made by Mr. Gaudio to move into executive session at 5:36 p.m. to discuss follow up on previous complaints, seconded by Mr. Greco; on voice vote all concurred. Motion to reconvene at 7:08 p.m. was made by Mr. Greco, seconded by Mr. Gaudio; all concurred. Reconvene in Open Session Motion to reconvene in open session at 7:09 p.m. was made by a unanimous vote. Next Meeting Dates The next meeting dates will scheduled for January 14, February 19, March 18 and www.vniles.com Board of Ethics Meeting, December 18, 2012 April 15, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. Adjournment Motion to adjourn was made by Mr. Lagodzinski, seconded by Mr. Gaudio; all concurred and the meeting adjourned at 7:16 p.m. Kathy M.
