PUBLIC NOTICE
SPECIAL BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING
A virtual meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. via Zoom Conference.
A Special Meeting has been called of the Board of Trustees pursuant to Section 2-31, Special Meetings,
of the Niles Code of Ordinances. The purpose of this meeting is Board approval of three New Business
Items (see detailed agenda attached) and a Proclamation Honoring the Class of 2020.
This electronic meeting is open to the public and the public may submit comments in advance. Public
comments will be accepted by email and phone call only. Public comments received by 3:00 p.m.,
Monday, May 11, 2020 will be read at the beginning of the meeting under Public Comments. Any
comments received during the meeting will be held until the end of the meeting. Public comment is
limited to three minutes per person. Public comments should be emailed to: contactniles@vniles.com and
contain the following information:

• Organization, agency, etc. being represented. (If representing yourself, put "Self")
• Topic or Agenda Item Number followed by Public Comment

The Special Meeting will be broadcast live and available for the public to watch online at vniles.com/ntv
(NTV Online) and on Comcast Channel 6 and AT&T U-Verse Channel 99. This meeting will also be
rebroadcast throughout the week. Village Hall will not be open for this Board meeting as the Village is
encouraging social distancing and supporting the Governor’s “Stay-at-Home” directive and invites the
public to participate in the meeting via the Public Comment options listed above and watch the broadcast
of the meeting.

Construction Group for the Construction of the Police Parking Facility in the
Amount of $3,229,000
Item 2 Resolution Authorizing a Contractual Agreement with Frederick Quinn Trustee Matyas
Corporation to Provide Construction Management Services for the Police
Parking Facility in the Amount of $223,070
Item 3 Board Approval - Authorizing a Change Order to a Contractual Agreement with Trustee Matyas
Crowne Industries, Ltd. for the Contaminated Soil Remedial Work of the Public
Works Facility Old Fuel Station in the Amount of $75,412
