Present: 5 - Chairman McCreery, Wlodarski, Kanelos, Grcic, and Skeffington-Vos Guests: Ross Klicker, Katherine Lockerby Absent: 2 - Ostman, Mangold APPROVAL OF MINUTES Chairman McCreery asked if there were any additions, clarifications or corrections to the minutes of November 29, 2018 meeting. Tom Kanelos mentioned there were a few misspelled words but with those corrections I will make a motion to accept the minutes. Rich Wlodarski seconded it. AYES: 5 - Chairman McCreery, Wlodarski, Kanelos, Grcic, and Skeffington- Vos. NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 2 - Ostman, Mangold OLD BUSINESS I. EnerGov Software Update Rich Wlodarski said that the user training for EnerGov is the first week of February and we are going live on February 11th. Everything is getting finalized and is going smooth. The tablets for the inspectors are in and the IT Department is configuring them and working to get them set up. All the inspectors that are in the field will be on tablets instead of writing inspections out. Everything will be done electronically and all inspection reports will be updated and emailed to contractors and owners. There will be a big push to get everyone’s email address in the system. We are not going to submit drawings on line right now, architects are giving us their flash drives and we scan them. Submitting payments will be done electronically on line but will happen at a later date. Rich W. suggested the next Building and Zoning meeting be scheduled for March instead of February because of the EnerGov learning process within the department. Everyone on the committee agreed. After much discussion, Chairman McCreery said for the record we have literally looked at this from every angle and we do not know how to make any adjustments to that without infringing on people’s rights and freedoms when it comes to their own properties. Tom Kanelos said to Chairman McCreery, I definitely agree with you on that. Chairman McCreery said can I have a motion to move this off the agenda. Tom Kanelos made the motion to take this off the agenda. AYES: 5 - Chairman McCreery, Wlodarski, Kanelos, Grcic and Skeffington-Vos NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 2 - Ostman, Mangold NEW BUSINESS I. Comprehensive Entrance and Roadway Sign A. Entrance Signage B. Service/Civic Organizations Identification C. Wayfinding Signage After much discussion on all of the above, Chairman McCreery feels uncomfortable giving our seal of approval to the above where we have no relative experience with these items in terms of our scope of work. Everyone on the committee agreed with her. II. Video on Property Maintenance After much discussion, Chairman McCreery thought that making a five minute long video that is simple and short would be the best thing to do with only one person narrating it. Contract with Rjfsite-48 Consulting LLC After much discussion, Chairman McCreery and the members of the committee have agreed that this contract should be taken care of by the EDNR Commission. NEXT MEETING DATE – Thursday, March 21, 2019. ADJOURNMENT Chairman McCreery made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:30am. Richard Wlodarski moved to adjourn.
