COMMUNITY RELATIONS COMMISSION MEETING SUMMARY October 10, 2013 – 5:00 p.m. Persons in attendance: Steven Gorski Mary Marusek Trustee Rosemary Palicki – Ex officio member Village Manager Steve Vinezeano – Ex officio member Cathy Spadoni - Secretary Because a quorum was not present, Commissioner Gorski postponed the meeting until a date to be determined. The following was discussed: Commissioner Gorski welcomed Trustee Palicki and explained that the mission of the commission is to address fair housing and discrimination in housing issues. He also reviewed the agenda items. Commissioner Gorski will call the absent commissioners. Commissioners Gorski and Marusek will work on the brochure content; Village Manager Vinezeano will prepare the brochure. The secretary will ask the Village attorney if our Community Relations Commission ordinance matches the State of Illinois and Cook County requirements.
