There were no complaints or inquiries made to the police department or family services. Tony Bertram
spoke briefly about cannabis and its impact on students and our neighborhoods. He spoke at length
about drug assistance programs and resources available for addiction and families struggling with drug
abuse. This includes a new tip line and crisis line.
b. Telephone/Email Hotlines
No reports, complaints or inquiries were submitted or reported.
c. Commissioners
Carolyn Drblik followed up with the resident who complained about Nicor wrecking her grass. She was
connected to the correct contact at Public Works to determine if there is something that the Village is
responsible for and could give her a contact at Nicor. There may be an issue since it is from 2017.
Carolyn will follow up.
Carolyn also provided a follow up on the resident mentioned at the last meeting who had an issue with
her neighbor aggressively pushing into her home to complain about dirt and roaches. The woman was
issued a ticket for unsanitary conditions but was very appreciative of the inspector and his attempts to
help her. Carolyn also felt that this resident could benefit from Family Services assistance.
