FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES VILLAGE OF NILES , ILLINOIS June 3, 2014, 4:00 P.M. 1000 Civic Center Dr. Niles, IL 60714 Chairman Valle called the regular monthly meeting to order at 4:00 P.M. and took roll call. Present: Chairman Valle, Commissioner Mangold, Commissioner Mueller, Fire Chief Borkowski, Police Deputy Chief McEnerney and Village Attorney Annunzio. Absent:. Approval of Minutes: The minutes of the May 6, 2014 meeting were approved. Motion: Commissioner Mangold. Second: Commissioner Mueller. Yeas: Commissioner Mangold, Commissioner Mueller, Chairman Valle. Nays: . Abstain: . Correspondence: None. Old Business: The preliminary Fire Lieutenant promotional list was posted and the final Fire Lieutenant promotional list was posted as of March 4, 2014. New Business: The Fire Eligibility examination planning is underway. A meeting regarding the test is scheduled for June 4, 2014 with representatives from Selection Works, Wilmette, Morton Grove, Park Ridge and Niles. The regular meeting was closed at 4:04 P.M. and opened in Executive Session per 5 ILCS 120/2 (1) Personnel. Motion: Commissioner Mangold. Second: Commissioner Mueller.
