FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES VILLAGE OF NILES , ILLINOIS February 3, 2015, 4:00 P.M. 1000 Civic Center Dr. Niles, IL 60714 Commissioner Mangold called the regular monthly meeting to order at 4:04 P.M. and took roll call. Present: Commissioner Mangold, Commissioner Mueller, Interim Police Chief McEnerney. Absent: Chairman Valle, Fire Chief Borkowski, and Village Attorney Annunzio. Approval of Minutes: The minutes of the January 6, 2015 meeting were approved. Motion: Commissioner Mueller. Second: Commissioner Mangold. Yeas: Commissioner Mueller, Commissioner Mangold. Nays: . Abstain: . Correspondence: Old Business: None. New Business: Discussion on the hiring of a Probationary Police officer. Interviews of two (2) groups of five (5) candidates will begin at 4:00 PM on 2/9/15 at the Police Department. The regular meeting was closed at 4:06 P.M. and opened in Executive Session per 5 ILCS 120/2 (1) Personnel. Motion: Commissioner Mueller. Second: Commissioner Mangold. The regular meeting was reconvened at 4:09 P.M. The next regular monthly meeting of the Commission is scheduled for March 3, 2015 at 4:00 P.M. The regular meeting was adjourned at 4:10 P.M.
