FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES VILLAGE OF NILES, ILLINOIS May 5, 2015, 4:00 P.M. 1000 Civic Center Dr. Niles, IL 60714 Chairman Valle called the regular monthly meeting to order at 4:05 P.M. and took roll call. Present: Chairman Valle, Commissioner Mangold, Commissioner Mueller, Interim Police Chief McEnerney, Fire Chief Borkowski and Village Attorney Annunzio. Absent: Approval of Minutes: The minutes of the April 7, 2015 meeting were approved. Motion: Commissioner Mangold. Second: Commissioner Mueller. Old Business: The temporary appointment of Nicholas Beyer to Acting Sergeant was extended sixty (60) days. Motion: Commissioner Mangold. Second: Commissioner Mueller. Yeas: Chairman Valle, Commissioner Mangold, Commissioner Mueller. Nays: . Abstain: . New Business: Study list will be posted for the Police Sergeants’ Examination. The regular meeting was closed at 4:07 P.M. and opened in Executive Session per 5 ILCS 120/2 (1) Personnel. Motion: Commissioner Mangold. Second: Commissioner Mueller. Yeas: Chairman Valle, Commissioner Mangold, Commissioner Mueller. Nays: . Abstain: . The Executive Session opened at 4:07 P.M. to discuss Fire and Police personnel matters.
