Vinezeano – Village Manager Andrew Vitale called the meeting to order at 8:32 a.m. Agenda Item #1 – Approval of Minutes The minutes of the July 23, 2014 meeting were approved. Agenda Item #2 – Old Business – Project Updates Orthophotography A Vitale presented an update on the orthophotography project from the Sidwell Co. All data manipulation is going well and the Committee agreed with the symbology for the new orthophotography chosen by A. Vitale/ Agenda Item #3 – New Business Sewer Interconnection A Vitale reported that as a result of his work with the Storm Water Commission, and in consultation with J. Grana - the Utilities Superintendent – some interconnections have been confirmed between the Niles and Morton grove sewer systems. These interconnection can have significant impact on the Storm Water Commission’s findings and A. Vitale would like to spend the additional time looking further into these interconnections and report his findings back to the Storm Water Commission and this Committee. The Committee agreed. Trees A. Vitale provided a complete report of his activities with the Forestry department. These have included maps and spreadsheets and other tools for Contractors and Niles staff regarding all tree removals, plantings and trimming activities for 2014. A. Vitale reported that he will continue to look into methods to streamline the communication and workflow between himself and the Forestry Department. EVP Lights A. Vitale reported to B. Pilat that the design of the database for the Emergency Vehicle Pre-emption (EVP) lights is complete and ready for his review. Easements A. Vitale reported to C. Ostman that the a draft database design schema for a database of Easements is in process and he will deliver to him as soon as it is ready. Agenda Item #4 – Completed / Ongoing Projects General Cook County Property Images Additional property images from Cook County have been obtained and are ready for inclusion into our database and accessibility on Atlas. Planimetric Data Update & Maintenance A. Vitale will work with S. Cusick in implementing a workflow by which we can keep the new planimetric data (Buildings, sidewalks, etc.) up to date as soon as it arrives as a result of the orthophotography project. Public Services VueWorks / GIS Asset Layer Change Notification A. Vitale will also work with S. Cusick in implementing a workflow by which needed attribute and spatial changes to the GIS assets on VueWorks can be streamlined. Water / Sewer GIS  AutoCAD (DWG) Export A. Vitale will work with the Engineering Department in establishing a process by which relevant GIS data can be exported to a CAD format for Engineering use on a timely basis. Map Requests A. Vitale reported on several map updates and new requests received in the past two months. Thes included maps on the following:  Fire Grids  Christmas Market  Water and Sewer Infrastructure reconfigurations  Voting Precincts  State / Congressional Representation Agenda Item #5 – Next Meeting The next meeting was tentatively scheduled for January 23, 2015 at 8:30 am.
