Facility and Equipment Updates/ Replacement
- Replaced 3 Comcast DTA boxes- saving about $3 per month on Comcast bill
- New problems with MaxGalaxy and VM’s- For about the last 4-6 weeks the check-in kiosk
freezes after about 8 hours, causing staff to not be able to clock-in or clock-out. The kiosk needs
to be restarted at least once per day, if not 2 times, taking about 3-4 minutes each time. Also, the
calendar feature on the digital signage is no longer working properly and needs to have IT
assistance to restart each day. An IT support ticket needs to be submitted for help. I believe both
of these issues are related to the village network and not the MaxGalaxy software. IT is aware of
the problem but I’m unsure of what action is being taken to resolve it.
