CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order by Trustee Genualdi at 11:01 a.m. ROLL CALL: PRESENT: Trustees Vincenzo Genualdi, Michael Boba, Samuel Fucarino, Jim Grammas, and Marimel Lim ABSENT: None ALSO PRESENT: Carolyn Clifford, Ottosen Britz; Michelle Hawkins, Lauterbach & Amen, LLP (L&A); Marlane Marshall, County Court Reporters; Eric Lambrechts, Disability Applicant; Barry Ketter, Disability Applicant’s Attorney PUBLIC COMMENT: There were no public comments. A motion was made by Trustee Genualdi and seconded by Trustee Fucarino to appoint Attorney Clifford as the Hearing Officer for the Eric Lambrechts Disability Hearing. Motion carried by roll call vote. AYES: Trustees Genualdi, Boba, Fucarino, Grammas, and Lim NAYS: None ABSENT: None DISABILITY HEARING OF ERIC LAMBRECHTS: The Board conducted the hearing in the matter of the disability application of Eric Lambrechts. A court reporter was present and a verbatim transcript was taken of the hearing. Eric Lambrechts was represented by counsel, Barry Ketter. The Board admitted into evidence Board Exhibit Nos. 1 through 14. Sergeant Lambrechts provided testimony in the matter. CLOSED SESSION, IF NEEDED: A motion was made by Trustee Grammas and seconded by Trustee Fucarino to enter into closed session at 11:35 a.m. for the purpose of discussing evidence and testimony presented in the open hearing under 5 ILCS 120/2 (c)(4). Motion carried by roll call vote. AYES: Trustees Genualdi, Boba, Fucarino, Grammas, and Lim NAYS: None ABSENT: None A motion was made by Trustee Genualdi and seconded by Trustee Lim to end closed session at 11:48 a.m. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote. A motion was made by Trustee Genualdi and seconded by Trustee Boba to grant a Line of Duty Disability pension benefit to Eric Lambrechts. Motion carried by roll call vote. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote.
