PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE MEETING SUMMARY Tuesday, December 9, 2014 Fire Station 2 – Room # 117, 8360 W. Dempster St Members Present: Chris Hanusiak - Chair, Interim Police Chief Dennis Mc Enerney, Fire Chief Steve Borkowski. Members Absent: Anthony Fidanza Meeting began at 9:07 A.M. NEW BUSINESS 1. Update to Chapter 38, Village Ordinace Rich Wlodarski, Community Development, discussed changes to be made to Chapter 38, Emergency Services, village ordinance. 2. Wireless Fire Alarms Community Development presented the village wide wireless fire alarm monitoring program. Committee discussed program and on a motion by Chief Mc Enerney and seconded by Chief Borkowski the committee agreed that program should be presented to the village board. 3. Chief Borkowski updated committee on the firefighter applicant test and current hiring.
